Our Vision
We created myIsland.lol because we love interactive maps, procedural generation, and playful web experiences. The idea was simple: what if there was an Earth with no countries, just thousands of unique islands waiting to be discovered?
The Tech
The globe is powered by a procedural generation engine that creates over 1,200 unique landmasses, each with its own biome, elevation, and climate data. We use modern web technologies like React and d3-geo to render a smooth, interactive 3D globe right in your browser.
